One of the best parts about working at Grind Media was getting a glimpse of the photographs before they hit the shelves. Surfer Magazine puts out their annual Surfboard Buyer’s Guide which showcases the best boards and shapers in the business. My first task was creating an online questionnaire to gather information, images and content from the shapers themselves. The second part was representing the finished print version of the guide on the web. What resulted was an extensive microsite and resource for the 2011 Surfboard Buyer’s Guide. My passion for action sports has helped me achieve great things in the industry and it really shined in this project.
